This September, stroll through a few areas of the museum and get a taste of the house’s rich history and arts. Please note this open-house event will not feature the whole museum and is first-come-first-served. Due to capacity restrictions, there may be delays.

Museum Day is an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine. Participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket.
