The museum can only be experienced by guided tour. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes, and include six rooms over three floors. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tours are offered on the hour from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The last tour is at 4:00 p.m.

  1. Take the Green Line to the Park Street stop.
  2. Follow Park Street toward the Massachusetts State House to Beacon Street.
  3. Follow Beacon Street until you reach Walnut Street on your right.
  4. Follow Walnut Street, turn right on Mount Vernon Street. The museum is #55.
