Support the Nichols House Museum's Annual Appeal

Dear valued members, visitors, and guests of the Nichols House Museum,

We ask for your support of the Nichols House Museum’s Annual Appeal. The Annual Appeal provides vital funding for the ongoing preservation of this 1804 townhouse with its original art and furnishings, as well as high quality programs and special events that bring inspiration and delight to the Beacon Hill and Greater Boston community, and to our visitors from around the world.

The museum achieved accreditation this year by the American Alliance of Museums, signifying its commitment to the highest standards in all aspects of its operations. Nichols House is one of only ten museums in Boston to achieve this distinction. Plans are underway for a 2018 exhibition that will center on the Nichols women as collectors of fine and decorative art and the liberating effect collectorship had on their gender. The recently launched program series, Nichols after Dark, aims to open up the museum during evening hours with unique experiences inspired by the collection.

With your support, the Nichols House will continue engaging and introducing people both close to home, and from around the world, to the importance of the home of Rose Standish Nichols and her family, whose actions and ideals continue to be an inspiration to contemporary audiences.

We appreciate your participation in supporting this Boston treasure. Thank you for giving to this year’s Annual Appeal as generously as possible.

With gratitude,

Kate Enroth
